Klafs reveals its latest infrared cabin concept

Klafs has presented its new concept for infrared cabins at Interbad 2012. The Infrarot Profi Oakstone is equipped with infrared heating technology, developed especially by Physiotherm for Klafs.

Designed to be a highly reliable infrared system and user friendly, it has integrated personal recognition and protection against overheating.

The infrared cabin concept is based on patented lava sand radiation technology in connection with new SensoCare technology.

Highly sensitive sensors integrated in the radiation source measure the temperature of the skin without any contact, in order to prevent the skin from overheating while still achieving the maximum amount of warmth. This means that the body receives deep heat gently and carefully.

Additional security is provided by the protective grid with a surface weave that is safe to touch.

The new Oakstone design features glass and a combination of white and black varnish, light oak and light or dark natural stone.

The ergonomic seating units are made from solid oak, optically free-floating and integrated in the wall. Indirect lighting between the seats and the red light are designed to give an atmospheric ambience.

Opposite each seat is a display integrated into the wall, which provides information about the current intensity and the remaining time for the current application. This infrared seating unit can be installed in the Oakstone cabin and other cabins, including those made from hemlock or Swiss pine.

The KLAFS Infrarot Profi Oakstone can be installed in a hotel suite, a fitness studio, a spa or at home, to seat one, two or a number of people.
